A family of refugees make their way slowly along the road, leaving the town behind. There is an optimism in their demeanour in spite of the heavy load they carry....
A family of refugees make their way slowly along the road, leaving the town behind. There is an optimism in their demeanour in spite of the heavy load they carry. I made this picture in monotone to describe the dreariness and drudgery of their journey and used a large format to emphasise the magnitude of the challenge they face to forge a new life in another country.
