Explore Moscow's Famous Bulldozer Exhibition of 1974 - Dr Nicola Kozicharow
Listen to a lecture by Dr Nicky Kozicharow, a specialist in 19th and 20th Century Russian and Soviet Art and Visual Culture, and affiliated lecturer at the University of Cambridge. The Bulldozer exhibition was an unofficial art exhibition by avant-garde artists from Moscow and Leningrad on September 15, 1974. The exhibition was broken-up forcefully by a large police presence using bulldozers and water cannons.
