Tetiana Kotliar, 29, from Zaporizhzhia Region, near the front-line and Crimea. A week before the 2022 invasion they would go to the sea and could witness the build-up of Ukrainian military forces. She didn’t want to leave, then a friend called two months after the invasion and said they had one more space in the car. “I didn’t understand why I had to leave my family. My mother said that I must go if I have the chance. When she said ‘good-bye’, it was good-bye to no-where.”
