Recognition of Rosen’s work grew. Albert Duveen the famous international art dealer, bought several pieces of Rosen’s work for his private collection.
The Zionist organisation of America sponsored a large one man show in Tel Aviv Israel in December 1959.
The South African charitable organisation Santa sold over 300,000 Christmas cards which Rosen donated to them, designed in exquisite black-and-white pen and ink.
This current piece the ‘Bay of Fables’ and the ‘Study of Boats in Harbour’ which follows, bear the hallmark of his perfectionist pen.
