Frank Rosen
Rosen evolved an entirely original mixed media technique which he constantly developed throughout his artistic career, combining pen drawing, colour-etching, oil, aquatint to exquisite effect.
Captivated and profoundly influenced in his Ballet Series by the exquisite beauty of the Chinese and Japanese schools, Rosen invested in reams of Japanese paper with which he endlessly experimented to augment the texture and depth of his etching technique.
