Frank Rosen
In his film ‘The Holyland Sojourn, Rosen narrates in his own words:
‘The smooth worn cobblestones leading to the Western Wall, David’s Tower, the Dome of the Rock, the Old City, the tombs of Absalom and Zakaria, the citadel of Jazza Pasha all emerge in a fantasy of song and tale, brilliantly coloured images, angled views and gloried characters. The march of history through biblical outposts yields visions of age-old dreams and oft repeated promises to the returning flocks, conjured by the artist's brush into exquisite vignettes.’
