The Right Hand of God is a work that continues my engagement with biblical motifs. In this piece, I turn to the idea of a higher power and its influence on human fate. The image of a hand descending from the sky, emerging from the clouds, becomes a sign of a higher will — both an act of sending and a warning. The flow of deep red evokes the notion of punishment and serves as a metaphor for the consequences ofhuman actions. The work is part of a series on divine intervention, raising questions about the fragility ofthe world and humanity’s responsibility for its own future. In 2022, the work was a finalist in the prestigious competition Kensington and Chelsea Art Week (KCAW) and was exhibited for four months at Holland Park. In 2024, the project was also presented at the Watou Art Festival in Watou, Belgium.
