What do we really pack into the many different journeys we go on? Is it not the hopes, dreams and expectations of what the journey will bring? Do the belongings we choose to, or are able to take with us reflect the potential of these less-tangible concepts? This piece is made from wood and cardboard, with various mixed materials in the details. The contents within are made primarily from the moving boxes of a house move, wrapping and envelopes from parcels and letters delivered, and other artefacts and materials found, collected and turned into new objects.
