In San Francisco, behind the Mission Dolores altar is a mural painted by Indian artists from around the year 1791. In January 2004, Eric Blind, a Presido Trust Archaeologist, and artist Ben Wood began a collaborative project to digitally document the mural, which had never been previously exposed in its entirety due to it sclose proximity to the main altar. This work is one of the first results of this digitatlisation project.
