This pastel scene of a Welsh chapel is signed with the artist Enid Abrahams' married name 'Dreyfus' - although she is better-known for her work during the Second World War, signed with her maiden name 'Abrahams' - and indistinctly dated, probably to 1968, although it appears erroneously dated to 1928 in previous cataloguing (see Jewish Artists: the Ben Uri Collection , 1994, p. 37, cat no. 75).
