This work was one of 16 bronze heads exhibited in the solo exhibition, Sculptural Expressions by Mosheh Oved, at St George's Gallery, London from 6-20 May 1948. A brief introduction to the catalogue stated, 'At age the age of 60[,] Mosheh Oved long known as a writer[,] has found a new way of expressing his fantasies and visions through the medium of sculpture[.] The exhibition is the product of the last two years work[.]'
