Joe Rose 1915-1999
This sculpture incorporates ready-made materials, in the form of a bottle, encased in papier-mâché and brightly painted with abstract patterns in the manner of Joan Miró. The tilt of the heady and body and outstretched limbs evoke a joyful freedom of movement suggestive of dance.
