Join Gill Clarke co-curator of Parallel Lives: Eight Women Artists as she explores some of the artwork produced by Enid Marx, Gertrude Hermes, Evelyn Dunbar, Ithell Colquhoun, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, Prunella Clough, Barbara Jones and Monica Poole. Independent in outlook their lives spanned the twentieth century and resulted in each producing a significant body of work.
Dr Gill Clarke is a writer, curator and former academic. Her recent publication with Steve Marshall, Parallel Lives: Eight Women Artists, accompanies the exhibition at St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery, Lymington, Hampshire (until 13 January 2024).
