Cherith Summers works as an art advisor for Murphy and Partners, where she advises on Contemporary, Post-War and Emerging Art. As an art historian, Cherith's research has predominantly focussed on galleries operating in Post-War London, with a particular focus on the Hanover Gallery and its proprietor Erica Brausen. Her work has particularly focussed on the impact of galleries run by emigres, and their role as sites which helped to promote the work of emigre, queer, and female artists.
