Marsha Ribeiro, the younger daughter of artist and poet Lancelot Ribeiro, tells her father's story via his poignant collection of photographs, letters, diaries and other writings from the Ribeiro archive. Casting a rare and illuminating light on the life of a passionate and complex individual, whose sensitivity to events reverberates throughout his artwork and written word, her talk will share insights from her research through the voices of her father, their family and friends, chronicling not only his personal journey from India to Britain, but also his uniquely experimental artistic practice.
