Late artist is granted ‘long held wish’ for heads show

Ham and High on the Heads: In and Out of Our Time exhibition

The late artist Lancelot Ribeiro painted heads to explore ideas of power and evil, and hoped one day to see an exhibition dedicated to them.
It’s a wish that has been realised some 14 years after his death with a show at Ben Uri Gallery in Boundary Road, St John’s Wood.
Lancelot Ribeiro: Heads - In and Out of Our Time runs from September 18 in partnership with the artist’s estate and with the blessing of daughter Marsha Ribeiro.
