Faith, until recently, lived her entire life in the bush. Her late husband Ivan Butler was on dialysis in Alice Springs and during this time in Alice Springs she painted. Since her husband’s passing, she now resides permanently out bush with her children and grandchildren and other extended family members. She paints the stories passed down her of Tjukurpa and Tingarri (Dreamtime stories / creation stories) and the traditional designs associated.
