Kornbluth specialised in etching during his time at the Central School of Arts and Crafts (1934-7) and was particularly known for depicting his own East End neighbourhood. A version of this etching was exhibited as (no. 62), priced 10.6 shillings at the 'Annual Exhibition of Works by Jewish Artists' at the Ben Uri, at 43-44 Great Windmill Street, Piccadilly Circus from 21 June - 5 July 1936.
