This four-part interconnecting Golden Drawing is an image of a world undergoing plague as we are at the present time. Here I bring together the ancient story of the Ten Plagues with our current plague, so that, uncannily, some of the figures are wearing masks as you go through the archetypal plagues of blood, frog, lice, wild animals, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness and death of the firstborn. Each of these powerful elements is explored in great detail in this drawing that in total measures almost 170 cm across. Like the other drawings composed of four elements, this climaxes in a vortex.
